K-Guard vs. Topper Products

We cost less. That's right! Topper product companies will come out and give you an estimate and then tell you that you need to add new downspouts and/or gutters, which will cost you a lot more than the original K-Guard Leaf Free Gutter System®

Our gutters are larger (a full 5-inches) and our downspouts are oversized (3x4) so they can remove more water faster than those old conventional gutters and downspouts.

Our unique hood has a front and rear channel to allow water to enter into our gutters from two locations. Our hood does not have holes or slots that can become clogged over time like the toppers do.

If you have bad/leaky gutters before the topper, you will still have bad leaky gutters afterwards. K-Guard is a completely engineered and integrated gutter system with a flip-top leaf free hood.

Our gutters screw into the fascia board of our house, not the roof. Therefore, the K-Guard Leaf Free Gutter System® will never negatively affect the performance of your roof or void your roof warranty. Toppers and Add-ons slide underneath your current roof shingles, causing an unnatural channel where water can get in and freeze and cause all sorts of roof problems.

Our gutters maintain parallel. Topper products and Add-ons do not.

Animals can not get into our K-Guard gutters. They can get into and make nests in gutters with toppers.

K-Guard offers a full range pallet of colors. Toppers are always sold in the same old colors (white, black and brown).
